Old Lutheran Rumors

Some of the most interesting pieces of Luther's life come to us from a collection of stories that his students collected that they called Table Talk. In the collection, we find Luther talking about his views on theology, marriage, the pope and just about everything else in his life. Please take this chance to express your views about life, but please, try to keep the Luther-like vulgarity to a minimum.

Now in BURGUNDY!

(LSB is burgundy. Just sayin'. And who wouldn't like a burgundy t-shirt?)

Here is the revised newsletter. Is it funny? Is it bipartisan? Is it offensive? What are your thoughts?

A major election is just four Tuesdays away, and with both parties talking about change, now is a good time to change your wardrobe. And stock up on Lutheran T-shirts. At Old Lutheran, we are calling for Lutheran Pride Tuesdays. Wear a Lutheran T-shirt every Tuesday between now and election day. Talk to all your friends, order together and save. Our quantity pricing makes changing the whole neighborhood affordable and fun. Together we can change the Lutheran church one T-shirt at a time!

Top 10 reasons to Change your T-shirt

There's no debate that Old Lutheran T-shirts are fun to wear.

People prefer that our T-shirts are lack experience. Every shirt is brand new!

Why put lipstick on a pig when it would rather wear a T-shirt?

Be a Maverick Like Luther and wear one of these shirts.

We change our shirts more often than the menu changes at our Pot-Luck Dinners.

Red states and blue states agree on one thing: Old Lutheran!

Unlike political shirts, these shirts can be worn after the election!

T-shirts to match every hymn book. Red, Black, Green, Blue and Maroon.

You can put lipstick on a T-shirt but it is still a T-shirt.

We have the experience we need to get these shirts to you because we can see our warehouse from our desks.

A couple years back, there was an image of Martin Luther with a "milk moustache", and underneath it was captioned, "Haben Se Milch??". Does anyone have a link to that??

Thanks so much.

Normally I'd post a link and say something smart like, "Google is your friend" . . . but I got nothin'. Sorry.

I believe The German was the one who created that pic. You may want to PM him with your request.

That was his online name. He probably deleted his membership again when he left in a huff.
