Meaty Italian Pizza Dip
Melted cheese on sausage/pepperoni makes this a pizza on a cracker!

Ingredients
1 T extra virgin olive oil
1/2 lb sweet or hot Italian sausage
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 small yellow onion, chopped
1/4 lb pepperoni, removed from casing/chopped
1 14-oz can petite diced tomatoes, drained well
3/4 C shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 C grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
Crackers for dipping
Directions
- Heat skillet, add oil and brown sausage

Add garlic and onions, cook until tender

Remove and drain on paper towel

Warm pepperoni in same pan, add back sausage mix

Transfer to a casserole

Sprinkle tomatoes over meat

Top tomatoes with the cheese

Place casserole under broiler until cheese melts

Serve immediately with crackers for dipping
