Barbecued Spaghetti
The following recipe was sent to us by an Old Lutheran Customer.
4 or 5 servings 1 pound regular spaghetti (don't use thin or angel
hair) 1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons liquid smoke
1 pound cooked beef shoulder or chuck roast, chop into 1-inch
pieces
16 ounces Sin
Boldly BBQ Sauce
1- Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain water
and return pot to stove.
2- While the spaghetti is cooking, mix barbecue sauce, sugar and
liquid smoke together. (a large measuring cup works well so the next
step is easier)
3- Add about two-thirds (about 10 ounces) of the barbecue sauce to
the pot with the spaghetti. Stir until ingredients are mixed and
sauce is hot.
4- Divide spaghetti equally among 4 or 5 plates or pasta bowls.
Divide meat among each serving, spreading evenly over the
noodles.
5- Drizzle remaining sauce over the meat.
6- Serve with Texas toast or garlic bread. If you really want to be
healthy, serve some green salad too. (No, Jell-O does not count as a
vegetable.) |
