Cheese Fondue A great party dish or appetizer especially with a small group or Bible study.
Servings: 12 | Prep Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients
30 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 cup chives
White wine
1 loaf day-old French bread
Optional: apple slices, sausage links or beef cubes


Directions
  1. Melt cheese in fondue pot.
  2. Add chives.
  3. Stir to keep from burning.
  4. Sloly add wine until consistency runs in strings from spoon like spaghetti.
  5. Tear bread into chunks and dip in cheese with fork or stick.
  6. As cheese cooks add wine to prevent thickening.
